Cuchulainn's Lament
Through the engineering of the wily Maeve, Cuchulainn, the
Achiles of Irish epic, is forced into combat with his dear foster
brother, Ferdiad. In the famous Combat at the Ford, recorded in the
Táin, Cuchulainn, assisted by the fairy world, slays the brave
Ferdiad. Heartbroken, Cuchulainn laments his dead, beloved
brother.
