The Death of Cuchulainn. Oil on canvas 30" x 40" or
76 cm x 101 cm
When Cuchulainn repulsed the advances of the beautiful evil
witch, Morrigan, she vowed his next battle would be his last. And
so when once more faced with Queen Maeve's forces Cuchulainn's
skill and strength began to ebb. To deceive the enemy the dying
Cuchulainn tied himself to a rock while the god of war, Badhbh,
in the shape of a raven, hovered over him.
